Currently CMO at Balihoo, a Local Marketing Automation firm. Shane runs 4 distinct organizations in Balihoo: Marketing (sell more Balihoo), Creative (localize national ads for local markets) Media (mostly digital/PPC) and Digital Strategy (what should our national clients be doing locally in digital - especially in terms of SEO?). Balihoo's value proposition is "Enabling brands to translate national marketing strategy into local execution."
Prior to Balihoo, Shane led Global PPC for Hewlett-Packard. At the time HP was spending $50M+ on PPC world-wide across a variety of organizations, so the challenge was to aggregate, align and optimize across multiple campaigns. He led all of HP's PPC efforts, and sat on the Google Tech Council.
Prior to these two search-specific roles, was in the agency world. First at a traditional packaged-goods agency (Dailey) and then at Wirestone, a digitally-focused agency.
