Thomas Ciszek is a former RAND Corporation analyst, Search Agent (http://thesearchagency.com) and is current co-founder, VP of Products at cross-platform analytics start-up Cojoin Inc and a Partner and The Video Search Agency. A trained information scientist, he self-adapted significant graduate training in economics and mathematics to Search Engine marketing, SEO and Business Analytics & Intelligence in 2009.
As a leader at The Search Agency, Thomas cut his teeth alongside his teammates on website migrations, data driven SEO decision-making and SEM/Display and social campaign alignment with earned content marketing strategies. Working closely with TSA superstars like David Waterman and Grant Simmons, Thomas helped developed and tie client information architecture investments to business value while simultaneously maintaining rankings and organic traffic for some of the largest sites on the web.
With academic research experience in information retrieval, query expansion, HCI and biometric market research; a move from policy analysis to search marketing and web analytics made sense. Thomas has seen and advised across a many share of publisher, e-commerce, lead generation and a plethora of other web business models for improving or introducing search marketing tactics. He is currently a Partner at The Video Search Agency - specializing in the optimization, marketing, testing and distribution of digital videos that oft contain robots.
Today, Thomas is focused on integrating data sources and delivering features to analysts at Cojoin. Identifying over 150 integrations - from upstream Google/BingYahoo!/Display, social, e-mail and SEO data to web analytics systems (Mixpanel, Google Universal, Adobe - Omniture) and downstream sources CRM, Salesforce - he believes that the power to make decisions is in the data and that decision-making should be easier.
