Eric Werner is an interactive marketing consultant specializing in Organic Search Engine Optimization, Web Analytics, and Pay-Per-Click Management. He joined the US Army as a paratrooper after studying business at the University of Georgia. After leaving the military in 2001, Eric joined a company called IMNISP and began to learn about marketing on the web. The field of search marketing instantly became an obsession.
Moving on to work for the largest web design and development firm in Atlanta, Eric left a trail of successful Search Marketing and Web Analytics engagements while assisting organizations to become more aware of how the web can work. Eric led interactive marketing initiatives with Lowes, Holder Construction, AFTCO, Walle, Performance Friction, and many others. Eric also assisted with some of the most effective viral campaigns, to include one named by TIME Magazine as one of the top 10 viral videos of 2008.
After leaving Northridge Systems, Eric went on to revolutionize the search marketing program for the Natural Resources Defense Council and provide SEO guidance for the complete redesign of the Learning Tree International website before taking full time employment with The Home Depot.
At The Home Depot Eric manages content marketing, acts as the liaison between the SEO, Social, and PR teams, and currently leads the Social Local Mobile effort for 2,000 locations.
