My name is Travis Bernard, and I am a social media analytics and strategy specialist on AOL’s Audience Development team in Dulles, VA. I use data-driven insights to evangelize social media best practices and drive traffic to AOL’s brands, including TechCrunch, Engadget, Autoblog, and the Huffington Post. I manage AOL's Simply Measured contract, and I am constantly evaluating new social media tools to find the best offerings in the market. Prior to joining AOL, I worked with LM&O Advertising as the Social Media Analytics Manager for the National Guard account. There I developed, refined, and managed custom social media analytics and performance reports that helped drive strategic advertising and marketing decisions related to web-based, digital, interactive, mobile, and social media efforts. Before joining LM&O, I worked with New Media Strategies as an Online Analyst in the Entertainment practice, supporting brands like Disney, History Channel, and NBC. In my free time, I enjoy wake surfing, crabbing, traveling, seeing live music, and reading about new technologies and web platforms.
