At the age of 16, Avi discovered making money online to be a fine alternative to finding a "real job". An internet addict ever since, Avi created several successful online businesses throughout high school and college: Skytron, Inc, which liquidated the assets of failing retail giant Computer City via eBay; and External Solutions, a manufacturer and online retailer of external optical and storage drives.
Avi graduated from Rutgers University in 2004 with degrees in Psychology and Economics and a certification in eCommerce Management. Shortly after, Avi founded Promediacorp, a search marketing and web development firm, which he continues to run today. Based in Manhattan on the Chelsea waterfront, Promediacorp works with clients such as Sony, Weill Cornell Medical Center, and Weichert Realtors to help them successfully achieve their search marketing objectives.
Avi is an author at the SEMPO Institute, a founding member of IMNY.org, and regularly speaks at search marketing conferences. He is also a contributing blogger to the Search Engine Roundtable. You can follow Avi at twitter.com/aviw.
