Marcel Holsheimer is responsible for increasing the awareness of Unica’s offerings across the region. He manages the marketing staff across the UK, Benelux, France, Spain and Germany. He is based in Unica’s Amsterdam office.
Prior to joining Unica, Holsheimer founded Data Distilleries, an analytical CRM and real-time marketing company. He grew the company from three to 120 employees, with revenues of €6 million. Holsheimer sold Data Distilleries to SPSS in 2003 and served as the vice president of marketing for SPSS’ application strategy until 2007.
Previously, he was a research associate for the Centre for Mathematics and Computer Science in Amsterdam. Holsheimer holds an honours degree in Computer Science from the University of Twente.
