Nick started his career in search with Consumerbase UK Ltd in 2004 where he joined as Managing Director responsible for developing the agency's UK business. Consumerbase is a specialist online media agency specializing in Search, email and data distribution services with its head office based out of Chicago.
During his 2 and a half years at Consumerbase, Nick worked with clients such as, o2, Weight Watchers, Tesco Ediets and Flight Centre amongst others working specifically on their paid search marketing activity. It is during this period where Nick's passion for search developed. In October 2006, Nick was recruited by MindShare Media UK as Head of Search to develop its search capabilities to compliment its full service media offering. During the 2 years since joining MindShare Nick has developed its search division into one of London's leading specialist search marketing departments inside a marketing services agency and has built the agency's Natural Search and Affiliate Marketing teams from scratch.
Working with agency clients such as HSBC, Hutchison 3G, Ford and Unilever to name a few, all of who retain MindShare across all media planning and buying, provides Nick with the opportunity to truly understand the value of search in an integrated media communications plan.
Nick is also sits on the IPA's search steering committee where he contributes to discussions to further develop the UK search industry as a whole.
