Chris Silver Smith is President of Argent Media, a search marketing agency located in Dallas, Texas, and has an extensive background in search engine optimization, internet techology and online marketing. He has worked for some of the top agencies in the SEO industry, including KeyRelevance and NetConcepts, researching and developing SEO and social media techniques, and providing search marketing strategies for Fortune 500 and Internet Retailer 500 companies.
Earlier in his career, Chris worked at Verizon's Superpages.com for over ten years, ultimately serving as the Head of Technology & Advanced Development. His projects there included R&D, local search development, user interface design, map-based search, mobile applications, and more. He was awarded the Verizon Individual Excellence Award in 2004 for his innovations there, and he has one patent awarded and other patents pending for local search technologies.
Chris's work has been featured in several publications, and he regularly contributes articles to [Ag] Search Blog, Web Marketing Today, and Search Engine Land.
