As Head of Natural Search, Jonathan manages a team of natural search and link analysts, spending a good part of his time keeping ahead of the changes in the industry and ensuring that the company adheres to acceptable practice. He oversees iCrossing UK’s natural search strategy across a portfolio of 60 clients, including BT, eBay, HBOS, More Th>n, Marriott and Bauer, supporting the sales team in pitches, ensuring that clients fully understand the company’s natural search strategies and assisting in the development of tools to automate processes. Jonathan joined the UK team as a search engine optimiser in April 2004 where among his many duties was the development of foreign language SEO in French, German, Swedish, Italian, and Danish. He is also a key communicator in the company, using his natural search knowledge and research to keep his colleagues up-to-date with developments in the sector, running training sessions and helping to manage personal development. Jonathan is 28 and has a degree in mathematics and artificial intelligence from the University of Sussex. A keen sportsman, he climbed Mount Kilimanjaro with the iCrossing team to raise money for a children’s home in Tanzania, and is in his spare time is a DJ with an interest in house and breakbeat music.
