SMX East Keynote Speakers Announced

Wednesday, August 20th, 2008

We’ve just confirmed two outstanding keynote speakers for Search Marketing Expo – SMX East, which takes place October 6-8 in New York City.

Bill Tancer, Author, Click

The October 6 keynote will be Bill Tancer, who’s just authored Click: What Millions of People are Doing Online and Why It Matters. Official publication is in September, but copies are starting to hit the stores and can be pre-ordered from online booksellers. Bill will be discussing the significant findings from Click and what they mean to search marketers.

Tim Armstrong, Google

If you buy keywords from Google, you can’t afford to miss the SMX East October 7 keynote. Google’s Tim Armstrong heads up the company’s paid search sales and sales operations teams. He also serves as a Google corporate vice president.

SMX conference chair Danny Sullivan said "These keynotes are an exceptional opportunity for search marketers to understand where our industry is headed. Tim is a Google veteran who helped build Google into the advertising powerhouse it is today, plus he’s fought the battles to help search advertising gain acceptance. Bill as a self-avowed ‘data geek’ is always entertaining when he shares what we can learn about ourselves from how we search. We’re fortunate and pleased to have both participating."

Join us for SMX East and you’ll enjoy these keynotes in addition to the more than 50 sessions on the agenda.
