Devise a Content Strategy
When you step into the content marketing world, you must create a solid strategy that will follow you through the whole process from brainstorming to analysis. We’ll discuss the ideas you need to look out for in the planning stages: audience demographics, voice and tone standards, short term/long term goals, and more. Also, we’ll talk about one of the most important steps you can take on your content marketing journey: creating an editorial content calendar. A content calendar will provide structure to your strategy, give home to your detailed plans, and allow for regularity in your content postings.

How to Create Great Content
Once your strategy and planning is complete, now comes the fun part: creating memorable, interesting, and brand appropriate content! We’ll give you ideas on how to generate content ideas from within your company, in addition to offering the most effective content types: free guides, content curation, videos, and answers to questions based on your customer’s input.

Content Optimization & Promotion
Now that you have created great content, you also need to optimize it correctly in order for people to find you. We’ll first cover the key optimization tools to implement, and then delve into the numerous outlets you can utilize to get the word out when your content is live. Be proactive about your distribution, and you’ll see the views and engagement start to trickle in.

Measure Measure Measure!
If you push out a regular schedule of content, but never stop to see how it is performing, you’re missing half the battle and potentially losing out on great insights that will move you forward. By analyzing the successes and failures of your content pieces, you can remain flexible and tweak your strategy as you go along. We’ll let you know what to look for, what tools to use, and how to analyze your data in order to better optimize your efforts for the future.
