Cancellation Policy & Terms

You may cancel your attendance by notifying our registration department by fax at +49 89 921 85034 or email by Friday 12th April 2013. Your registration will be refunded less a £100 processing fee. Cancellations after Friday 12th April 2013 are non-refundable. You may transfer your registration to another person at any time by providing written authorization. You will receive a confirmation email no later than one day after registering – please retain this for your records. A VAT invoice will follow. SSL encryption is employed on the registration form to protect sensitive data. We ensure confidential handling of all customer data received.

Email: All customer queries will be answered within 48 hours at the latest. SMX is open to business professionals 18 years and over only. Management may request a business card and photo ID prior to admission. Rising Media Ltd. reserves the right to make any changes it deems necessary to this programme. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to retain speakers and their presentation topics. However, unforeseen circumstances may result in the substitution of a presentation topic or speaker. Rising Media Ltd. reserves the right to use photographs of any Search Marketing Expo attendee in promotional materials. Rising Media Ltd. assumes no liability for the acts of its suppliers nor for the safety of any Search Marketing Expo participant while traveling to or from this event. Video Policy:

Sessions may be audio recorded without special permission but only for personal use. They cannot be placed online or transmitted to others without permission. Sessions may be videoed only with special permission for personal use and also cannot be placed online or transmitted to others. Short audio and video clips may be used for blogging and press coverage of session. As a general guide, non-contiguous clips of one minute or less should be used. Contact us if you need guidance about longer clips.

**Conferences that take place in the UK are liable for UK VAT as they are classified under VAT legislation as ‘services supplied where performed’ and therefore VAT of the country hosting the conference must be charged. Overseas delegates must pay the VAT charged on their invoice initially but can potentially reclaim this back from the UK VAT office.
