Brian Marin, Director of Search Services, DoubleClick Performics
Brian is responsible for the provision of paid and natural search marketing services to DoubleClick Performics' clients in Europe and Asia. He manages a world class team of search marketing experts delivering ROI for clients in over 20 countries.
Previously as Head of Natural Search Brian rolled out the Natural Search Optimisation (NSO) service offering to international clients at DoubleClick Performics.
Brian has almost 15 years of online experience having first used the internet in 1993. In 1994 he built his first website and in 1996 he founded a successful web design agency in Cape Town. In 1999 as International Technical Manager, Brian launched ShopSmart.com, multiple award winning comparison shopping website, in the UK, Sweden and Germany, and later played an instrumental part in its sale to Barclaycard.
Brian speaks at major digital marketing conferences throughout the year and is a member of the IAB Search Council. He received his Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Information Systems from the University of Cape Town and holds a professional management certification from the Open University in London.
