Microsoft’s Steve Ballmer and Google’s Peter Norvig to Keynote SMX West
The SMX Team is pleased to welcome Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer as he addresses the search marketing community for the first time.
Steve joined Microsoft in 1980 and was the first business manager hired by Bill Gates. Since then, his leadership and passion have become hallmarks of his tenure at the company.
On March 3 with An Insider’s Look At Google Research. Google’s director of research Peter Norvig will share behind-the-scenes demos of some of the cool technology Google is developing, take questions from the audience, and have a lively discussion hosted by Search Engine Land executive editor Chris Sherman.
Peter Norvig is a Fellow of the American Association for Artificial Intelligence and the Association for Computing Machinery. At Google Inc he was Director of Search Quality, responsible for the core web search algorithms from 2002-2005, and has been Director of Research from 2005 on.
